This past weekend we took Belle to the pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful day for it! It felt more like a summer day rather than a fall day! We met up with a couple of our friends and went on the search for the perfect pumpkin. Belle's excitement was beyond words. Here she is charging through the field in awe of which pumpkin to take home.

She then found the perfect pumpkin, so her and dad cut it off the stem.

But apparently it wasn't the perfect pumpkin. We turned around to see her carrying this pumpkin, which probably weighed only slightly less than her, so.....

.....THIS was actually the perfect pumpkin! We took this one home!

She finally got a little tired of running through the patch and needed to be carried. I'm not sure who had the more difficult job. Me carrying Belle around or dad carrying the four pumpkins we picked out. One for each of us (don't forget Sierra needed a pumpkin!)

There were TONS of pumpkins this year! Look at that field behind us!!

Olivia and Belle found two pumpkins that they thought were pretty cool because they had some green in them! I really don't know how our tiny Belle was lifting these like it was no big deal.

After getting our pumpkins, Belle was suddenly re-energized when she saw the jump castle, of course. Here she is jumping away...

Then we went to the kids corn maze. However, she did not want to do the inside of the maze, but rather walk the top of the maze. Hopefully they didn't put too much effort into making a tricky maze for the kids considering most of the kids preferred walking on top of the hay.

And last, lucky Belle got to go on a hay ride around the pumpkin patch pulled by two Clydesdale horses.

The fun didn't end there. When we got back home, Robin and Guy met up with all of us for a bbq. We were so happy to have them in town. Belle loved meeting her new baby cousin, Phoebe! (More pictures to come of their first introduction to each other. And by the way, she also has another new cousin, Will, born on Oct. 12th).

Sister-in-laws and cousins (and don't forget sweet Olivia and her cat, Meow). It was a great weekend for all! We now look forward to getting Belle dressed up in her Halloween costume! I know you all are awaiting what she will be.....

I had to throw these two pictures in. They have nothing to do with our pumpkin patch weekend, but I looked outside one morning and saw this. It made my heart melt.
