- He's full of movement, wiggles, and laughter.
- He loves to be held and grips on to your shirt in the front and back with his little hands.
- He pulls up on everything in sight, but still doesn't show much interest in walking on his own.
- He could win any contest for being the fastest crawler ever. His little arms and feet go so fast that sometimes he face plants into the ground because he can't keep up with his pace. (Play chase with him and he will love you forever)!
- He's an extra tough brother and takes a lot of squeezes, shoves, and pushes from his big sister. For the most part, he doesn't mind. Isabelle is working really hard on what gentle is, but it's a bit tough when you want to chase and wrestle your brother.
- He wants nothing to do with soft baby food. Too bad I have cubes and cubes of yummy homemade food I made for him that he now wants nothing to do with. He insists on getting tiny chunks of "real" food in front of him so he can use his hands to feed himself.
- This kid drinks a lot of milk!!
- Isabelle and Mark enjoy sleeping in the same room. Amazingly enough, the transition went much more smooth than we imagined (which was well deserved after all the painful, sleepless nights we encountered for months and months). We've had about 2 months of them together and it seems we've got the system working pretty well. He sleeps through the entire night, unless he loses the binky in which case he will throw a fit until mom or dad comes and pops it back into his mouth. Luckily, this only happens on occasion and I have to thank Jamie for almost always going to the rescue. And Belle, well, she sleeps right through his extremely loud screaming as he protests for the binky. Unbelievable!
- No need to set an alarm. He is an early riser. We'll try not to complain because we'll take that over having to wake constantly all night long. It's hard though.
- Favorite word = "uh oh"
- Favorite food = yogurt melts
- Favorite game = "hold me" (or I'll hang on your leg until you pick me up)
- Favorite past time = finding anything small enough to choke on and putting it into his mouth
I could go on and on about the our little boy who we love more than anything. Everyday is a new adventure and he ceases to amaze us every second of everyday!! We can't wait for more!
Here are a few more photos of Mark's big 10 month old day, which we spent at the stock show, and then a few of dad's big day!
