Birthday Boy at 2!

Nothing beats seeing this adorable face everyday! Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet, loving, and hilarious little Markie!

After hearing Mark sing "Happy Birthday" to himself more than once, we knew he was looking forward to his big day! Since his birthday falls just after St. Patrick's Day, we went with the green St. Patty's theme. He and Belle had so much fun helping me get everything organized. Here are the party favors...Shamrock Lucky Charms (which Belle found in a St. Patty's display) and milk to go with it.

Isabelle and Mark made the grape sticks. Mark's contributed by eating the grapes (and a few marshmallows) while Belle stuck them on the sticks.

It was such a beautiful day, so we did a lot of playing outside. Best part = playing on the scooter.

 

 

And the actual day of his birthday we had another celebration with the four of us and he was just as excited!

 His very own workbench and tools. Now maybe we can keep him out of dad's!

 Mark, you are the light that makes everything spark! Your smile, your hugs, your kisses, the goofy faces you make, your sweet little voice, your singing, your adorable wobbly run.  As much as we can't imagine loving you anymore, we somehow find a way to love you more and more everyday! We are so lucky to have you in our life! 

Things to remember:

• You are growing sooo fast! You're going to be our super sports star! Most likely basketball with that height!
• You love trains and any sort of construction machine
• Sweets are our enemy because you LOVE them so much and will throw a fit when you don't get one
• You want everything your sister touches, looks at, and plays with, even if you have the identical item in your hand. You love to make her crazy mad! But at the same time you two have your moments where you play so well together and all we hear is laughing! The best is when she dresses you up as a princess and you don't care at all.
• You are such a cuddler, such a baby at heart, and always stick by mommy and daddy. If we are not holding you in our arms, you are usually hanging on our leg, or grabbing our pants so they practically fall off, or holding our hand.
• Your 3 b's are a must have item at all times of the day. We will not find you without either your "b" (binkie), your "bobbie" (lovie), or blanket (or all three).
• You are talking up a storm right now. You are beginning to be a chatter box much like your sister and holy moly, you are hilarious!
• You LOVE to work with tools with daddy. You will be such a handyman when you are older!
• Diego is your favorite all time show
• You would read all day long with us if you had the opportunity. You adore any book you can get your hands on!
• Favorite word = "dat's silly"
• You are always a giant mess. Food on face, dumping toys everywhere, dirt all over your hands and clothes.
